Winegar's Celebrates Anniversary
Winegars just celebrated their 91st anniversary. Winegars began in 1917
when Thomas E. Winegar decided to go into the grocery business. He rented a
small store (pictured) in Woods Cross for $75 a month and was called "Woods
Cross Mercantile". In 1939, the name was changed to "T. E. Winegar and
Sons". The name was later shortened to Winegars. Winegars is proud to still
be independently and locally owned. We hope to continue to serve our
customers and our communities for many years to come.

Need funds for the school band sports teams, cheer leaders or the PTA?
Whatever your church, school or charity needs Winegar's FRIENDSHIP FUND can
help you. It's our way of saying thank you to the community that supports
us.

we hope to donate more.

organization save their winegars register receipts. Your group will receive
a donation equal to 0.5% of the total receipts.
How do I sign up?
1. Members of your organization turn in cash register receipts to your
organization.
2. Add up receipts by using the subtotal before tax.

4. Organization sends original receipts with an application for friendship
fund account to their local winegars. Applications are available at any
Winegars Customer Service Booth.
5. Winegars will send a donation of 0.5% of the grand total.
